Asian stocks edge higher after Fed rate cut, focus shifts to BOJ

MSCI#39;s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was up 0.2%. Japan#39;s Nikkei stock index rose 0.41%, but Australian shares fell 0.24%.
