Alagba, 344-Year-Old Tortoise, "Oldest" In Africa, Dies

A tortoise whose royal owners claimed was 344 years old years old has died in the palace of the traditional ruler of Ogbomosho, southwest Nigeria, a spokesman said Saturday.
